Annual competition to find Australia’s Best Bathroom 2018 now open
Now’s the time for your public bathroom to shine, with entries opening today for the eagerly anticipated 2018 Best Bathroom Competition – brought to you by Initial.
Proudly sponsored in 2018 by Initial, the Best Bathroom Competition is run by Total Facilities, Australia’s largest facilities management exhibition. It’s a great way to bring some recognition to your company’s facilities – and take pride in your porcelain palace.
“The aim of the competition is not only to advocate washroom wellbeing but also to encourage awareness of some of the best bathrooms in Australia among facilities and workplace management professionals,” says Andrew Lawson, Total Facilities event manager.
“The bar was set extremely high in 2017 with Brisbane International Airport Terminal taking out the top spot. We can’t wait to see what’s in store this year,” he adds.
Now in its fourth year, the winner of the 2018 Best Bathroom Competition – brought to you by Initial will be announced at Total Facilities in April.
Is your porcelain palace a winner?
To enter your bathroom located in an Australian public or private building, you must be a professional working within the facilities function at your workplace and be able to provide photographic evidence of your bathroom.
Bathroom entries will be judged on design, innovation, aesthetics and products and services that improve wellbeing for everyone.
“We’ve noticed a real change around the focus on bathrooms across the Facilities Management sector. With technology influencing and enhancing the experience, we are excited to see more of these innovations in the future,” says Initial Marketing Manager, Tania Dalton.
Enter via the Total Facilities website by simply writing in 50 words or less why your bathroom is the best Australia has to offer. Entries are now open until Wednesday 13 March and will be judged by a panel based on eligibility, style, comments and cooperation with the process.
Finalists will be announced via the Total Facilities website and Twitter page on Monday 19 March and will be invited to attend the event where their nomination will be on display in a designated feature display at the show. The winner will be announced on Wednesday 18 April and take home the coveted title of ‘Australia’s Best Bathroom’.
