Making cities more liveable, workable and sustainable

Smart Cities Council Australia New Zealand (SCCANZ) is the latest internationally-acclaimed partner of Total Facilities 2018, Australia’s leading facilities management event and marketplace for FM buyers and suppliers taking place in Melbourne in April.

Total Facilities event manager Andrew Lawson says there’s great synergy between the two organisations and a shared vision for the future of Australia’s urban environments: “Smart Cities Council is renowned for working globally to make cities more liveable, workable and sustainable,” explains Andrew.

“We’re delighted SCCANZ will have a strong presence at Total Facilities in April and will also host an extremely compelling session on urban digital transformation and the future of our smart cities,” he adds.

“There is no better time to catalyse investment in smart technology and data solutions to help accelerate building performance in Australia” says Adam Beck, Executive Director of SCCANZ. “We have globally committed to fight the climate crisis, and we are excited about the Total Facilities event being a platform to advance smart building technology as a solution.”

SCCANZ will also be exhibiting in the new Total Facilities Smart Zone, a thriving hub of technological innovation offering practical insights into how to use technology and data to understand and improve building performance.
