Jay Dee Dearness
Jay Dee Dearness is a Senior ESD Consultant with over 20 years’ experience across the design and construction industry spanning sustainability, architecture, interiors, landscape design, public art, ecology management, indigenous and stakeholder engagement.
Jay Dee is committed to improving ecological and human health and wellness within the built environment using her Sustainability Management experience and knowledge of best practice in industry through building standards such as WELL, Greenstar, the Living Building Challenge and holistic tools such as the principles of Biophilia.
Her design experience has seen Jay Dee work across the full spectrum of design practice, handling projects ranging from hospitals, resorts, mulit-residential developments, public facilities, inner-city commercial, luxury residential, urban streetscape renewal, tilt-up industrial warehouses, urban art and even a church. She is also a past Community Concept advisor for the International WELL Building Institute’s certification research program. And, since 2019, have been an ongoing member of the Supply Chain Sustainability School.
