COVID-19 has impacted all environs, inclusive of the public sector. The impact has been to alter our way of thinking, reassessment of priorities and a shift in resource allocation.
Has the risk, likelihood and potential consequences of an active threat altered with the change of focus?
How can government and private enterprises ensure the safety of their employees, occupants, and visitors? Danger may present from religious or ideologically motivated extremists, domestic or commercial risk or criminal behaviour. The threat may be an active threat, bomb threat or threat of chemical attack or hostile vehicle attack.
There is much that can be done and needs to be considered to provide best safety and security practices for employees and occupants.
